Gas Monetization Turning the world's abundant natural gas resources into commercial products is an important and growing market and a KBR strength. Since the mid-1970s, the company has been responsible for building 56 percent of the world’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) capacity and designing more LNG receiving terminals than any other contractor. We have executed LNG liquefaction projects in some of the world’s most remote locations, helping to transform developing counries by adding infrastructure, building schools and training local workers. KBR is also involved in the emerging field of gas-to-liquids (GTL) market and has made significant contributions in gas processing development, equipment design and construction methods.
