Joint Development Programs KBR is keenly interested in the joint development approach. Joint development allows us to provide the skills and resources in which the KBR Technology Center (KBRTC) excels, and combine them with those of our clients. The objective is to take the development from a conceptual stage to a commercially ready product.
In recent years, KBRTC has worked with many companies to execute a variety of successful joint development programs. These programs include fluid catalytic cracking (FCC), olefins, fertilizers, delayed coking, gasification, petroleum refining, residuum oil supercritical extraction (ROSE™) and hot gas desulfurization.
