DRIL-N Family of Fluids
Baroid introduced the DRIL-N family of fluid systems to address problems encountered while drilling, completing and working over deep, high-pressure, or hot pay zones. DRIL-N fluid options are available to meet these conditions in vertical, horizontal and slimhole wells.
The DRIL-N family consists of several discreet systems formulated to provide a starting point for designing non-damaging fluids capable of optimizing reservoir-wellbore connectivity and avoiding damage to the pay zones in a wide variety of producing formations, superior hole-cleaning capability and allow easy cleanup. DRIL-N base fluids may be modified for specific applications with a host of non-damaging additives capable of achieving results that are far superior to fluid additives of the past.
Considering the cost savings that can be achieved and the incremental value created over the life of a well or a field with even a small increase in production, new-age non-damaging fluids systems and fluid additives should be part of every oil and gas well-construction project.
The DRIL-N systems are designed to economically optimize reservoir-wellbore connectivity and avoid damaging the pay zones in a wide variety of producing formations, while achieving superior hole-cleaning capability and allowing easy cleanup. DRIL-N base fluids may be modified for specific applications with a host of non-damaging additives capable of achieving results that are far superior to fluid additives of the past.
